Hello Joseph!
I hope that you and your Family had a wonderful Holiday this past weekend. I'm sorry it took awhile to respond back about the radio station you asked about. It's WJZX, 99.7. I still haven't got my hands on your discs yet. But I have my friends looking out for it for me! A friend of mine in NYC who is a jazz pianist has worked with Stephanie James and Audrey Wheeler, so I definitely love your choice of background vocalists. Not to get my hands on the music. Keep up the great work and lovely sounds. Take Care!!

Hey Joseph -- I've been listening to your CD, "Not Your Typical New Yorker" ever since you gave it to me. I am completely blown away!!! Now I find your music constantly in my head. I find myself singing a melody and wondering what is is ... and then I remember it's one of your tunes. I already knew what an amazing player you were from working with you, but your compositions and arrangments are really outstanding. I've fallen in love with the ballad "Broken Heart" -- it actually brought tears to my eyes. I'm telling everyone who'll listen to check YOU out. Wishing you all the very best and look forward to working with you again soon! Please let me know when you'll be performing again with your band. Hugs, Mala Waldron

Mr. Diamond:
I recently purchased your music CD, “Not Your Typical New Yorker, from CDNow, which I heard on AOL’s Smooth Jazz radio station; very impressive work. It is very rare to buy a CD and truly like every selection on it—congratulations, quite an accomplishment. The fundamental Latin flavor of the CD is very audibly attractive. I was also impressed with the music arrangements and order of the selections on the CD. As one audibly transitions through the selections, one notices the introduction of different instruments and the different textures each adds. Every selection had very nice transitions and unexpected rhythms that very much made the audio experience, in my view, top shelf. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest rating: CD Cover, 10, Performance 9.5, Writing 10, Arrangements 10, Overall Recording, 9.5, Mixing 9.0, Listening pleasure 9.5. My favorite track is “Florence.” I am looking forward to your next release.
Cordially,
Richard

I'm an enthusiastic fan of Afro-Cuban jazz,especially
Eddie Palmieri's music, and I love to play Bongo & Cowbell. Today I listened to your piano music
through MP3.COM. It's great!!
I can feel E.P's influences from your
piano improvising. But I'd like to listen your "MONTUNO" phrases more !!
What is your favorite E.P's album?
My favorite is "Super Imposition".
